My "calico" male

I use the term "calico" since he seems to be made up of three main colors, reminded me of a splotchy cat coat. This picture is more washed out than he normally appears, sometimes the orange practically glows. I'm rather happy with how the tail size has turned out, although the dorsal is a bit small compared to some I've seen. Apologies for the fuzzy photograph, not only can I not take pictures, but the freakin' fish won't hold still either. Wink

RE: My "calico" male

Thanks for posting this, Ranasp. It's a nice fish and I agree about the tail, good size and nice coloration Smile Is it a line of fish you are actively trying to improve? (eg, increasing fin size etc .)

Somewhat, I've kept the females and gave away the males, and I'm casually thinking of improving them. They have some interesting "flash" to them in the right light, and they all seem very hardy.
